Increased process safety and lower maintenance costs in biogas system technology.
In advance of the Energy Decentral Fair 2018, held in November in parallel to the EuroTier Fair in Hanover, the German Agricultural Association (DLG) announced the winners of the Innovation Competition. An international committee of experts awarded two gold and four silver medals out of 28 approved innovations. The WANGEN X-UNIT is amongst the winners, taking the silver medal.
The modular system, consisting of a foreign body separator (X-Tract) and a cutting unit (X-Cut) simultaneously offers several benefits to overcome contaminants and thus improve functionality as well as the quality of work. According to the committee of experts, an easily accessible foreign body removal opening and the axially movable cutting unit ensure the straightforward and fast inspection and maintenance of the unit. In addition, the grille can be simply replaced, which also enables it to be adapted to the material used.
We are thrilled about the award, which once again underlines the quality and innovation produced in Wangen im Allgäu.
