New product features on jaw with transverse infeed
The ability to convey sludge with up to 45% TS content has made the WANGEN transverse infeed unit so successful because it completely eliminates any possibility of bridges being formed, and the large storage tank is valued by many plant manufacturers because it means that in many cases it eliminates the need for a silo.

Replaceable stainless steel joints for universal joints with pre-feeding screw
Stainless steel joints in jaw pumps are subject to heavy wear because in the past it was not possible to protect them with a collar. In the new design it is now possible to pull a collar over the joint and to replace it if necessary without having to order a new pre-feeding screw at the same time.

Caution: Risk of explosion!
WANGEN pumps must withstand extreme conditions in bio-gas plants. Fermentation substrates containing approx. 15% dry substance must be drawn in by suction pumps. Dangerous operating states may be caused by a lack of safety precautions, installation work or modifications to the plant which have not been carried out properly.

The smallest bearing support pump from WANGEN: KL20
Up to now there was only the KB20 block pump. With immediate effect this pump size is also available with a bearing support which has the same benefits as the well-known larger bearing supports from WANGEN. The new version is designed for liquid, mostly chemical media which are easy to draw in.

FDA-conform joint feet for height-adjustable base plates
For height-adjustable base plates we have traditionally used joint feet with a ball joint in a cup on the plastic foot. These joint feet are now no longer state of the art. When the pump is cleaned, a pool collects in the cup and can lead to
bacterial growth. We therefore looked for – and found – a new supplier for FDAconform joint feet.
