WANGEN silo pumps / Type KL-RS
The WANGEN Type KL-RS pump is a hopper silo pump for conveying and metering dewatered sewage sludge with a dry substance content (DS) of 15 to 45%. This makes the Type KL-RS silo discharge pump an indispensable core unit in modern sewage plants.

Applications
WANGEN Type KL-RS pumps are used as silo discharge pumps in modern sewage plants. Dewatered sewage sludge is stored temporarily in buffer tanks (upright silos) with capacities of up to 500 m³. From here it is conveyed by the pumps, which are flange-fitted to the bottom of the silos, in automatic 24-hour dosing mode to a drying plant or an incineration plant for example.
