Abrasive and chemically aggressive feed chemicals used in biogas plants place exacting demands on progressing cavity pumps. The increase in the use of long-fibre substrates, like manure, straw and agricultural waste, exposes stators and rotors to heavier loads. Frequent replacement of spare parts reduces the system's operational reliability and efficiency. It it therefore important to plan ahead in line with requirements.

The rotors in progressive cavity pumps play a vital role in ensuring the smooth pumping of media. 80% of biogas applications use a progressive cavity pump from the KL-S series. The ECO- and PRO-LINE are the perfect complement to this series for the special process steps of your biogas plant.

Maximum resistance for the highest demands

The ECO and PRO-LINE rotors receive special surface treatments to significantly reduce wear and increase resistance. To achieve this, the rotors undergo a flame hardening process at over 900°C. This process significantly increases the hardness of the steel and guarantees excellent resistance with a Rockwell hardness of up to 64 HRC.

The result is long-lasting rotors that work reliably even under the most demanding conditions.
