 German biogas supplier TerraSol Wirtschaftsdünger has significantly enhanced production at its Dorsten facility, thanks to the integration of a BIO-MIX 200 from Wangen Pumps. This hopper feed pump mixes and transports diverse organic materials to the digester tanks at the precise speeds and high pressures necessary for optimizing biogas generation. The BIO-MIX 200's high throughput and robust performance have enabled TerraSol Wirtschaftsdünger GmbH (a joint venture between AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG and ODAS GmbH) to meet the increasing demand for renewable energy by efficiently processing a larger volume of agricultural by-products.

The Mühlacker biomethane plant in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, has taken a pioneering step in biogas technology by integrating the BIO-ROXX module from Wangen Pumps. This innovation marks a significant advancement in substrate preparation, addressing the growing complexity of biogas feedstocks and enhancing overall plant performance.

Efficient preparation of heterogeneous and complex substrates represents an increasing challenge in the biogas sector. The Mühlacker biomethane plant has overcome this obstacle using the Wangen Pumps BIO-ROXX module. Last year, Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH launched the Pump Academy, a comprehensive training programme for sales and service partners. Thirty-eight participants have already taken advantage of the first eight sessions to gain confidence in using the company's pump technology or to train new employees. The successful concept is entering a new round this year.
