Welcome to WANGEN AMERICA.
Your experts when it comes to particularly robust and reliable pumps.
WANGEN AMERICA is located in Elk Grove Village, IL, a suburb of Chicago.
WANGEN pumps are manufactured at our headquarters and main production plant located in Wangen, Germany in the Allgau region, which is in the southern part of Germany where the three Countries of Austria, Switzerland and Germany come together at Lake Constance.
Starting in 1969 we have successfully manufactured pumps for a wide variety of liquids for many different Industries around the world.
applications of our products
More and more, water is becoming an extremely valuable resource. Depending on the country and the local legislation, municipal and industrial wastewater must be cleaned in a number of complex processes and steps for safe return to the environment.

WANGEN pumps are excellent for biogas industry, because they combine technical maturity with robustness and longvity. They convey a wide range of different biomass: liquid manure from livestock farming, vegetable scraps and food waste as well as renewable raw materials, like corn and grass silage, GPS and dung, in each case mixed up with slurry or recirculate.
Since it was founded in 1969, WANGEN PUMPEN has been developing and manufacturing progressing cavity pumps for various agricultural applications, e.g. liquid manure transport, liquid manure distribution and liquid feed.
The sanitary pump series of WANGEN gently pump the products, allowing easy the processing of the smallest residual amounts and allow easy cleaning – which is especially important in the food industry – thanks to CIP (Cleaning in Place) or SIP (Sterilisation in Place).
WANGEN sanitary pumps are designed to handle specific mediums and bring the pumped goods - whether chunky, viscous, sensitive to shear, or high temperature - with low pulsation to their final destination. Our specific pumps can be also used to transport the fruit and vegetable waste, which occurs during processing.
The fundamental advantages of WANGEN pumps are clearly felt in the chemical industry. They enable the low-pulsation, pressure-stable, exactly dosed conveyance of the most difficult media such as polyol, isocyanate, PVC compounds, tensides, polyurethane adhesives, dispersions for glues or galvanic sludge.
Features include flow-optimized housings, near-pulsation-free conveyance of media, high dosing accuracy, use of FDA-approved materials, and little dead space for easy cleaning. All in all, WANGEN pumps ensure the highest standards of production for their users.
