Welcome to WANGEN PUMPEN.
Wangen Pumpen is the company's head office and main production site, located in the town of Wangen in the Allgäu region of Germany. This is our home: southern Germany, where three countries – Austria, Switzerland and Germany – come together at Lake Constance.
Since 1969 we have been producing pumps for a wide variety of transported substances and materials in numerous diverse fields.
applications of our products
More and more, water is becoming a valuable resource. Service water and waste water must therefore be cleaned in modern drinking water and waster water treatment plants with the help of complex processes – in successive mechanical, biological and chemical stages – and then returned to the ecological cycle.

WANGEN pumps are excellent for biogas industry, because they combine technical maturity with robustness and longvity. They convey a wide range of different biomass: liquid manure from livestock farming, vegetable scraps and food waste as well as renewable raw materials, like corn and grass silage, GPS and dung, in each case mixed up with slurry or recirculate.
Since it was founded in 1969, WANGEN PUMPEN has been developing and manufacturing progressing cavity pumps for various agricultural applications, e.g. liquid manure transport, liquid manure distribution and liquid feed.
The hygienic pump series of WANGEN PUMPEN gently pump the products, allowing easy the processing of the smallest residual amounts and allow easy cleaning – which is especially important in the food industry – thanks to CIP (Cleaning in Place) or SIP (Sterilisation in Place).
WANGEN hygienic pumps are designed to handle specific mediums and bring the pumped goods - whether chunky, viscous, sensitive to shear, or high temperature - with low pulsation to their final destination. Our specific pumps can be also used to transport the fruit and vegetable waste, which occurs during processing.
The fundamental advantages of WANGEN pumps are clearly felt in the chemical industry. They enable the low-pulsation, pressure-stable, exactly dosed conveyance of the most difficult media such as polyol, isocyanate, PVC compounds, tensides, polyurethane adhesives, dispersions for glues or galvanic sludge.
Features include flow-optimized housings, near-pulsation-free conveyance of media, high dosing accuracy, use of FDA-approved materials, and little dead space for easy cleaning. All in all, WANGEN pumps ensure the highest standards of production for their users.
