Hygienic levelling feet instead of base plate and a
lantern coupling in place of free shaft ends between motor and the pump
offer a series of different benefits
Hygenic and efficient to clean
Easier to clean than base plates, as there are only minimal surfaces on which dirt and bacteria can accumulate. Lower risk of infected contamination zones compared to a solid base plate. Moreover, the hygienic levelling feet need significantly less space than conventional base plates: ideal for compact installations. Base plates continue to be available where required for setting up the pump.
Fast alignment and reduced maintenance requirements
Lantern couplings guarantee fast and error-free alignment of the pump shafts.This avoids misalignment that would otherwise lead to wear on the coupling, bearings and gears. Leading to lower maintenance requirements and extended maintenance intervals.
Optimun torque and load handling
The specially developed lantern coupling efficiently supports the transmitted torque and bending moment without placing loading on the shafts and bearings. This guarantees smooth operation, even under the most demanding conditions.
